The 2019 Massolino Barolo Tinto winemaking is a testament to the search for purity and maximum expression of the Nebbiolo grape. The traditional process begins with careful fermentation and maceration for about 21 days in open oak fermenters, known as tini, which ensure a controlled temperature. This approach respects ancestral methods, allowing the wine to reveal all its distinct attributes. It is aged in large, toasted Slovenian oak botti for up to 30 months. These barrels provide an ideal environment for the development and harmonization of complex wine flavors. Finally, the wine is left to mature in a bottle, where it continues its journey towards perfection.
