Quinta das Carvalhas is a property of great beauty and spectacularity, with a predominant position on the slope of the left bank of the Douro River in Pinhao, which straddles the slopes of the right bank of the affluent Rio Torto. The oldest written references about the Fifth go back to 1759.

Intense purple in color, with concentrated flavor notes of jams, black fruits, plum and rock, the Real Companhia Velha Vintage reveals a tremendous aromatic intensity. The test shows that it is round, powerful and fruity, but with a very elegant structure finishing long and persistent, which give it a great capacity for aging.
