The Real Companhia Velha Espumante was perhaps the great surprise that was born from the concept of experimentation and innovation present in the Company, when it was made from the grape varieties traditionally used in the production of Champagne: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. After the first edition with the Séries brand in the 2011 harvest, a project followed entirely focused on the production of Sparkling wine using these two varieties. The harvesting of the grapes obeyed specific criteria for the purpose of sparkling wine, which favor a strong acidity in harmony with the evolution of aromas and flavors and which occurs before reaching full traditional maturation.

Beautiful color, demonstrating youth, and that impresses even Champagne aficionados. Fresh and aromatic, with fruity and very elegant notes, which give it intensity and character. Tasty and delicate, it has surprising notes of brioche, which give it a unique profile for a Douro sparkling wine.
