Mixed from a selection of exceptional whiskies, aged for 32 years in barrels. Tasting Notes: Deep amber with tawny highlights. The aroma is full and rounded, brown sugar, notes of Marsala wine, a hint of salted pork, delicate oranges and tangerines, and a tiny mineral touch, rough and slightly sulphurous. With a splash of water, there's an explosion of floral notes, like fresh cloves and then some salty bread dough. On the palate, smooth, sweet and soothing on the palate, it immediately brings to mind sticky toffee pudding – molasses, dates, brown sugar and the mildest of spices, such as nutmeg and cinnamon. There's a lingering skeptical note, like orange oil, with some sugar-coated almonds.
Scotland is the oldest whiskey producer in the world, making them the most popular on the market. Scotch whiskey is produced from barley or malted grains, which after being double distilled must age for a minimum period of 3 years in oak barrels. Scotch whiskeys are divided between Single Malts and Blendeds. The first is produced only from the mixture of malted grains, resulting in a more intense and creamy flavor. The second type uses a mix of malted distillations and different grains, resulting in a simpler flavor.
