Dalva Aged Ports are the result of a blend of superior quality wines from harvests from different years. The age expressed on the label expresses the nature of the wine and its profile on tasting, characteristics given to it by aging in wood.

Based on the traditional method of making Port Wine, in which fermentation is stopped by adding wine brandy. The wines used in this lot have different ages, and have been aged in old-fashioned wooden hooves, creating at the end a blend with an average age of 40 years in proof.

Aromatic profile marked by the oxidation process: dried fruits, toasted, spices and typical nuance to ethyl acetate, most evident in older wines. Notes to nuts, iodine and tobacco stand out. Elegant palate, with a complex density of aromas. It reveals a silky texture and balanced sweetness in proof, culminating in a harmonious and very persistent ending.
