Vallado ABF wine was bottled in 2016, in celebration of the 300th anniversary of Quinta do Vallado. The name "ABF" is a tribute to the ancestor of the current owners of the farm, António Bernardo Ferreira I, who in 1818 bought Quinta do Vallado.

933 75cl specimens were produced, numbered and packaged in a unique solid walnut wood case. This case, designed specifically for this wine, also contains a crystal decanter produced in Portugal by Atlantis.

This magnificent Port Wine was produced by a small producer from Baixo Corgo, a neighbor of Quinta do Vallado, who has kept it with great care and affection, since 1888, in three 650L hulls. Due to the evaporation to which he was subjected for more than a century, the wine was reduced to approximately 700L, having remained in the original hooves, where he always aged.

It is a very rare wine, with exceptional qualities, and one that can still live for many years.

This extraordinary Port Wine presents an extremely seductive color immediately to the eye that resembles mahogany, with greenish laivos when the glass is shaken, a clear and evident sign of the age of the wine. The aroma is very complex and rich with numerous nuances of dried fruits, vinegars, iodine and spices, with a very fresh and harmonious finish. The mouth confirms and reaffirms the freshness of tremendous promising nose hair. Despite the fact that the wine is extremely rich, unctuous, concentrated and dense, it ends with an acidity that produces a perfect harmony and that gives an explosive and endless finish, looking like the wine does not want to go away.
