For more than two centuries, the name Dow's has been referred to as one of the best Port wines.

Dow's Vintage Porto features a black-purple color, it is austere, complex and intensely concentrated, full-body and harmonious and with fine, peppery tannins. Flavor to abundant fruits with notes of ripe wild blackberries confer elegance and poise. The nose is intense and powerful with concentrated notes of violets when young, evolving into cinnamon and tea rose as it ages.

Aged in oak hulls for about 18 months and bottled without any kind of filtration or gluing. Dow's Vintage Port Wine can be enjoyed when vibrant and young, or it can age for many years in the bottle, evolving into a soft, delicate wine of a velvety elegance.
