Grapes harvested manually for 12Kg boxes and carefully selected at the sorting table. Fermentation took place in a temperature-controlled press with several steps throughout the process. Aging for 16 months in new French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: The 2019 edition of Marias da Malhadinha Red is based on the Old Vineyards of Vale Travessos planted in 1949. With a concentrated ruby ​​color, a complex nose with notes of red and wild fruit, a vegetal and spicy touch of the high quality barrel stage. Full and dense in the mouth, with present but fine tannins and an elegant and very long finish, a Marias for the table and the cellar.
