Private selection red was first launched in 1987 under the name “Garrafeira”. Initially, produced from the best barrels of Esporão Reserva, today it results from the combination of unique plots of the territories where we are present, in the Alentejo. A wine that demonstrates the diversity and richness of Esporão. In exceptional years this combination gives rise to the Torre do Esporão.

Each plot was vinified and aged separately according to the potential profile of each variety and respective origin.

Deep garnet color. Aromatic complexity revealing ripe black fruit, notes of fresh cocoa and some pepper. Silky texture, dense and firm, with the tannin structure giving it intensity and persistence.
