Blandy's Sercial 5 years ferments with natural yeasts at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats with a controlled temperature. After approximately 5 or 6 days, fortification is carried out with wine alcohol in order to maintain the desired natural sugar content.

The Blandy's Sercial 5 years is aged for 5 years in American oak casks using the traditional 'Canteiro' process. This includes gently warming the wine in the attic of the warehouses in Funchal.

Bright and clean topaz color with golden reflections. Fresh, with aromas of nuts, wood and citrus. Fresh, fruity and persistent aftertaste.

It is excellent as an aperitif and goes well with starters, fish dishes and Indian cuisine.
