This wine was born in 2001 with the aim of challenging the classic profile of the great Alentejo wines. The maturity of the vineyard, with the unusual Semillon caste, combined with the type of soil, climate and the philosophy of those who produce it, faithful with respect to origin and raw material, makes its unique identity enhanced year after year, in a solid record, rich and complex.

Grapes from the Palmeiras vineyard at Herdade dos Perdigões, owned by Esporão. With northwest/southwest exposure providing protection to grapes during the hours of greatest heat.

Decantation is shorter than usual, which helps maintain the complexity of the medium. Fermentation takes place in new barrels of 550 liters of French oak, in a basement with a controlled temperature at 18 °C.

About 6 months in French Oak barrels, on the fermentation lees accompanied by batonnage, to provide integration between the wood and the wine increasing its creaminess and depth. After filling, it remained 6 months in the bottle, during which it had a controlled maturation that promoted the characteristic complexity of this wine.

Color p Mesh with greenish laivos. White plum and ripe lemon, fresh almond, spices and white chocolate. Rich and intense, where the white-pulp fruit stands out complemented with white pepper and nutmeg. Intense, with an elegant and persistent finish.
