The Encruzado variety is exclusive to the Dão region, it is very balanced, aromatic and gives the wines a great longevity. The plants grow on slopes located between 350 and 400 meters in altitude. The vineyard is managed within an integrated protection program, with the application of herbicides being prohibited. Weed control is carried out by tilling the soil. The harvest is manual, when these reach the optimum point of maturation, being located in the second half of September.

This first production wine was vinified in stainless steel at 13 °C, with two thirds of the same finishing fermentation in new French oak barrels, where it interned for 12 months.

Proof Notes: Minerality and wood to give some complexity. Resinous plant, eucalyptus, mint, tamarillo and hazelnut nuances. Fresh with acidity well integrated in a structured body of medium volume.
