Vineyards from Campanário, Câmara de Lobos and Funchal where the soils are of volcanic nature, mainly derived from basalt, trachyte, tufa, slag and conglomerates.

The grapes are crushed and pressed. The must obtained is fermented in oak barrels. Fermentation is stopped by the addition of grape brandy to maintain the desired degree of sweetness.Aged in old American oak barrels in the traditional “Canteiro” system.

Deep amber in color with a green, ripe edge. In the nose rich and alive, in the mouth aroma of fruits and nuts. With a sweet, smooth and soft finish with hints of ripe figs.
