It is red and Douro… and was voted the best wine in Portugal 2023!

The Grand Jury of the 10th Edition of the Wine of Portugal Contest, awarded the red wine Quinta Nova Vinha Centenária Reference P29/P21, 2019, as Best of the Year.

Since the 2005 harvest, this wine is a fundamental part of the history of Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo and its maximum expression of terroir. One Wine from the first monocasta vineyards of Touriga Nacional planted in the Demarcated Region of the Douro, now 45 years old.

A wine with a very elegant profile, almost feminine, contrasting with an intense structure of succulent tannins of enormous precision. The shistous, high gravity texture, the seivous profile and the purple color reflect well the nature of the Touriga Nacional variety.
