Nikka Taketsuru is an ageless whisky, made with malt whisky distilled in pot and Miyagikyo the Yoichi distillery. Yoichi contains strong and half peat, peat and Miyagikyo whiskey without repeating the two distilleries. A mixture of sherry and bourbon barrels was used.

It has a dry oak and caramel aroma. A light fruity and light wood smoke. Its flavor is full-bodied and quite sweet. Chocolate wrapped in soot and a sprinkling of hot ash. Some sweets and fruits from the garden.

Long finish, with notes of caramel, soft sherry and rose water.
