The red wood ant (Formica rufa) is a rich source of formic acid, and has a surprisingly spicy, citric flavor that perfectly complements wild botanists, including wood avens, nettle and alexander seeds.

Each botanist is distilled individually to preserve its purity, then mixed with the essence of sixty-two wood ants. The result is an innovative gin filled with sweet, woody spices and lemongrass.
