In The Flesh is a serious affair, more adult than his partner Hot Lips. On the nose it presents ripe fruit and some complexity. It was aged in barrels which left marks on the body and a final aroma of spices. In the mouth it presents an intense tannin, but it is balanced in concentration and grace. In The Flesh was written to evolve well in the bottle and never lose its scent in the face of game dishes.
