White Special is a wine without a harvest year, which confirms the excellence of Dão in the production of great whites and the potential for safekeeping that characterizes the wines of the region.

In this wine tried to recover old Dão habits in the white wine stage, in which it was common for its long periods in old oak vats, thus crossing, throughout the year, varied environmental conditions. In this white, wines of 8 different years were used with an average of 7 years of internship in used oak barrels, of 225 liters, with different degrees of use.

Tasting Notes: Bright straw yellow colored wine, the result of good evolution. It is a dense and austere wine that presents a large aromatic amplitude in the mouth. The acidity is very lively and is very well balanced with the richness of tertiary aromas and with the notes of oak conferred by the years of barrel life. It is a wine with an extraordinary volume and a fresh, elegant, harmonious and difficult to forget.

Very gastronomic and versatile wine. Either it can be served to accompany baked fish dishes, well-spiced fish, cod, or even game, more complex red meats, such as roasted goat, or even a musk rice.
