Vinified grapes in the cellar of Quinta das Marvalhas, in Almendra, in the heart of Douro Superior. Selected grapes from the Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional grape. We tried to bring together the firm tannins of Tinta Roriz, the notes of steva and the soft tannins of Touriga Franca, and the aromas of black and wild fruits, with very marked floral and fresh notes of Touriga nacional.

On the nose, very fresh and elegant with notes of wild berries and black cherries in balance with seductive nuances of “liquorice”, the aroma being complexed by discreet notes of wood. In the mouth it is very concentrated, hot, with firm tannins and soft texture, a very intense and persistent finish to show with strength the strength of the Douro Superior wines.

This wine accompanies meats, cheeses and Mediterranean cuisine in general.
