Dalva Age Ports are the result of a blend of superior quality wines from harvests of different years. The age expressed on the label expresses the nature of the wine and its profile in tasting, characteristics that are given to it by aging in wood.

Based on the traditional method of making Port Wine, in which fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy. The wines used in this batch have different ages, and were aged in old wooden casks, creating in the end a blend with an average age of 40 years in tasting.

Aromatic profile marked by the oxidation process: dried fruits, toast, spices and typical ethyl acetate nuance, more evident in older wines. Notes of nuts, iodine and tobacco stand out. With an elegant palate, with a complex density of aromas. It reveals silky texture and balanced sweetness in tasting, culminating in a harmonious and very persistent finish.
