Venakki Distillery is the Pioneer of Portuguese Whiskey, a small private and independent brand producing spirits.

The Venakki Woodrock, works with the rare Portuguese cask and exemplifies craftsmanship, cooperage and wood management at its best. Exploring ground through exploration, ingenuity, expertise and curiosity, it is the result of some unusual and even quite controversial experiences, with Art & Heart infused throughout the process.

Whisky has a first maturation of 3 years in ex-bourbon barrels, and is then transferred to a first filling, in a rare Portuguese hull, recently emptied, for extra maturation for a certain number of years. The hull maturation process can contribute up to 80% of the flavor and 100% of its color, it is as magical as it is scientific and we believe that the mixture of these two is an art.

Bottled according to cask strength at precisely the right time, this is a very limited single bottling, the first and last edition of a special Cask Strength Single Malt.
