When we think of nature, we think of all the ways it intoxicates our senses. Nature is alive, moving and in permanent reproduction. It is something that is constantly evolving that we do not control and that we do not intend to do so. Wines crafted by nature are those that feature the unique characteristics of a land. These are wines that have their own life in the bottle, changing over time. The idea of bottling what nature created is what makes the art of wine making so exciting.

The CV - Curriculum Vitae Douro Tinto comes from red grapes grown in our vines over 90 years old on the Torto River with a north, east and northwest face. The grapes are de-stamped and trodden in mills for 2 days at a temperature between 16 °C and 18 °C before the start of fermentation. Then they are fermented in the same mills (100% of the total with a capacity of 5,000 kgs), for about 8 days, at temperatures between 20 °C and 26 °C. Aging in new barrels (75%) and one year old (25%) French oak, for about 22 months.

Tasting Notes: During the life of any winemaker, there are wines and moments that mark our lives, which deserve to remain in our curriculum. This wine is one of them. The CV is the curve of life. Colour Violet, dark red and purple, with aromas of black currant, black cherries, plums, spicy, balanced, fine, very long and fruity finish. Great aging capacity.

Perfect for pairing with game meats, veal, pork, stewed, grilled or refugee, with roasted vegetables, or more spiced side dishes.
