Favaios 1989 is the type of wine that is vineged only in years when grapes have been shown to have exceptional quality. After careful selection of the best Favaios grapes they were macerated and fermented as they were traditionally in the region.

Despite the long years of aging this Moscatel still has some of the most characteristic aromas of the caste like orange and tangerine. It is also very marked by the aromas of honey, raisins, dried figs and caramel that give it great complexity. In flavor the wine shows the typical sweetness of the Moscatel de Favaios very well balanced by the characteristic acidity of the plateau.
