Founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot-Muiron, Veuve Clicquot played an important role in the development and foundation of champagne as the drink of choice for the nobility and rich European bourgeoisie. Located in Reims, it now has one of the most extensive and beautiful vineyards in Champagne, with around 390 hectares, divided between 12 of the 17 Grands Crus and 20 of the 44 Premiers Crus that make up the entire Champagne region.
Tasting Notes: A beautiful color, yellow-gold reflections, fine foam. Powerful and pleasant fruity aroma, firstly (white fruits, chestnuts), and finally, sweet bread perfume. The ideal balance between the flavors of grape varieties (fruits) and bottle aging aromas (pies). In the mouth, the attack is frank and dynamic, giving way to a fruity harmony. The wine has a certain structure, which allows it to be classified in the family of structured wine bruts. Persistence is extraordinary aromatic fruity and spicy at the same time.
