Pétrus, located on the Pomerol plateau, is one of the most famous red wines in the world. Twenty to twenty-four days of fermentation and maceration in temperature-controlled concrete tanks. Twenty months aging in 100% new oak barrels. Refining, without filtration.

Pomerol's most famous wine, Pétrus has, over the last four decades, become one of the most renowned as well as one of the most expensive red wines in Bordeaux. Located in Pomerol, the small vineyard of 28.4 hectares where wines are treated as well and with as much care as any wine produced on earth. After manager Christian Moueix (his brother Jean -François is the current owner) made his selection, most of Pétrus' vintages turned out to be 100% pure Merlot.
