Walking through the woods, the orchard and the vegetable gardens of Quinta de Ventozelo, you will remember a collection of aromas characteristic of the Mediterranean vegetation. Ventozelo Gin carries these fresh and deep notes that define the SPIRIT OF THE PLACE. This Gin resulted from a research project with Inst. of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar and the partnership with Cantinho das Aromáticas, having studied the properties of each botanical species, its composition and the production method

The blend of selected botanical species was macerated in wine alcohol, to which wine brandy was added, both from the distillation of wines from Quinta de Ventozelo.

Tasting Note: To the characteristic aromas of the forest, the vegetable garden and the orchard, joins the vinous aroma of the wine brandy that makes up this Gin, which runs throughout the tasting, giving it smoothness and persistence.

An excellent marriage of the fresh and citrusy notes of lemon peel, mint, coriander leaves and lemon thyme, with the aromas of the forest, juniper, lavender, beautiful light thyme and perpetual purple.

In order to maintain the purity of its aromas, this gin should be served with unflavoured tonic water, ice and three juniper berries.
