Scala Coeli, owes its name to the Monastery of Santa Maria Scala Coeli, commonly known as Monastery of Cartuxa, where Carthusian monks lived in silence and prayer.

It results from the best vinifications of each year of less traditional castes to the Alentejo.

The Eugénio de Almeida Foundation's bet on the creation of products of excellence has been recognized over the past few years with several awards.
