| Laurent-Perrier has always favored Chardonnay as the predominant grape variety in all its Cuvées and was a forerunner of the 1981 Brut Nature category with Ultra Brut. The House had to bring this variety through a Cuvée; only Coteaux de la Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs planted with Chardonnay have been selected and harvested at perfect maturity with low acidity to enter the blend of this Blanc de Blancs. A perfect mastery of its vinification and aging in stainless steel vats has allowed us to express a new type of Brut Nature, in Laurent-Perrier. |
