Prats & Symington was founded in 1999 in a partnership between recognized Bordeaux winemaker Bruno Prats and the Symington family. It is an independent company, specialized in the production of red wines and has been at the forefront of the qualitative revolution in the Douro DOC, having contributed in a relevant way to its growing affirmation.

Post Scriptum is a wine with a profile similar to that of Chryseia, coming from the same vineyards and characterized by expressive and concentrated fruit, combined with great balance and elegance.

Grapes, hand-selected from carpet of choice, undergo a second mechanical process of selecting berries. The berries are gently crushed before entering the fermentation vat and, after inoculation with a dry culture of active yeasts, fermentation begins with temperature control. The maceration is smooth and adjusted to the production of a wine for immediate consumption but still with a fairly large capacity to age in the bottle.
