Blandy's Bual 5 years ferments with natural yeasts at a controlled temperature (18-21ºC) in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. After approximately 3 days, fortification is carried out with wine alcohol (96% v/v), in order to preserve the desired natural sugar content.

The Blandy's Bual 5 years is aged for 5 years in American oak casks using the traditional 'Canteiro' process. This includes gently warming the wine in the attic of the warehouses in Funchal.

Amber color, clean, with golden reflections. A bouquet of dried fruits, vanilla, wood and caramel, with a soft and medium sweet aftertaste and an excellent balance between fruit and acidity.

It is an excellent accompaniment to desserts, fruit, chocolate, cakes and strong cheeses.
