Embedded in the city of Bordeaux, this majestic cru that is Haut-Brion benefits from a very warm microclimate due to urbanization, which makes it the most precocious terroir of the appellation. Of exemplary regularity, the full-bodied and rich wines don't know what a small harvest is. Even in a less favorable year, they maintain the fullness of their aromatic character, the famous “smoked” flavor of Pessac and their amazing ability to strengthen throughout the entire aging process.

Tasting Notes: Deep purple black. Aromas of fresh blackberries, black currants and dark chocolate, pencil shavings, cultivated earth and cracked black pepper with a hint of lavender. On the palate, medium to full body, very firm tannins, ripe and granulate a lively column, structured layers of earth and black fruit strongly bonded. Attractive, mineral and scented layered finish.

Perfect to accompany red meat, poultry, game and cheese.
