In 1801, the Chivas Brothers first opened the doors to their gourmet food emporium in Aberdeen. They quickly gained a reputation as suppliers of food products and malt whiskies of the highest quality and their name became a "synonym of excellence".

In the 1850 s, they decided to combine the smooth cereal whisky with the sturdy malts to create blended, balanced and smooth Scottish whiskies. When it was launched in 1909, Chivas Regal 25 years was the world's first luxury whisky. In the early 1950 s, a new classic debuted-Chivas Regal 12. This blend of Premium whiskies, each with at least 12 years of aging, captivated the American market practically overnight. Later in 1997, Master Blender Colin Scott creates a new mix that wins numerous awards: Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Gold Signature.

Intense-colored, dark amber with a rich, indulgent aroma, multiple layers of aroma with traces of dried fruit, creamy caramel and dark chocolate. A velvety palate of dark chocolate that surrenders to elegant floral notes with a slight sweet, gentle smoky aroma. Extremely hot and prolonged finish.
