To celebrate the foundation's 325 years, Taylor's decided to release a limited edition.

The lot was selected from the extensive reserves of wines that age in wood at the Caves in Vila Nova de Gaia, destined for future Tawnies of 10, 20, 30 and 40 age, by David Guimaraens, responsible winemaker at Taylor's.

This opulent and seductive Tawny is a tribute to the company's 325 years and the recognized expertise in the art of hoof aging and the art of the lot of the best wines in Porto.

The bottle is a recreation based on an old sealed bottle from the late 17th century, with a date close to the founding of Taylor's. It is the oldest copy of an engraved bottle, containing indication of date and trademark, in this case the "4XX", symbol still used today by Taylor's.

Intense hazelnut-brown core with a fine brick-colored halo. In the nose, the aromas stand out with figs, on a background of caramel and mooca, notes of apricy and prunes and specified laivos of black pepper and nutmeg, with a gentle fragrance of jasmine, all in a solid and complex harmony. The sweet taste of toffee and molasses combined with berry compote flavors, result in a perfect balance between youth and maturity.
