Coche comes from old vines, planted in micaxisto soils more than 600 meters away, where the Rabigato, Viosinho and Códega do Larinho varieties predominate. The key to the success of this wine is its origin: the vineyard. Here, the balance between acidity and volume results in a fresh wine with enormous ageing potential.

Coche is Niepoort's most coveted White and has the closest profile to a great Burgundy. In the definition of his profile, we tried to complement the balance of fruit and with the complexity of the internship in French oak, first year and low toast, of the François Frères cooperage.

In the nose the stage in wood translates into notes of honey, dried fruits and brioche that are very well integrated with an aromatic base to apricot and citrus and some of aromatic herbs. In the mouth it has a structure similar to a great Burgundy: elegant, with moderate alcohol and high aromatic complexity. The finish is persistent and long, complemented by an excellent acidity that promises a fantastic evolution in the bottle.
