Poggione Brunello di Montalcino is a tradition wine that originates with the Franceschi family, when they established the viticultural business of their land, focusing on the Sangiovese vineyards at the end of the 19th century. The property is located in an ancient Tuscan winery, in the wonderful lands of Montalcino. The story goes that the Franceschi family has already become the biggest producer of Brunello di Montalcino since the beginning of the 20th century.

Today, the land used by Poggione Brunello covers a total area of six hundred hectares. The sublime work that is carried out in the vineyards and cellars, at an altitude of between 150 and 450 meters above sea level, allows us to give the best characteristics and aromas typical of the Tuscan lands. The vines are over 50 years old and the favorable microclimate allows for the growth of grapes fine, which are processed manually in the cellar. Aging takes place exclusively in large French oak barrels, located five meters deep. This is the secret of "Il Poggione" wines, a wide range of oenological products with unique characteristics.
