Maynard's Colheita 1970 Tawny presents itself as an excellent fifty-year-old Port wine, with caramelized citrus aromas, balsamic perfumes, mild acidity and honey flavors and nuances of caramelized roasted nuts.

It was produced by the traditional port wine method. It is a wine of exceptional quality, coming from a single harvest. It has matured in wood for more than 50 years, although the port Colheitas wine never has less than 7 years of aging in wooden barrels.
