The grapes from several very old vineyards in the Alto Douro Vinhateiro (Mêda), were pressed in a whole bunch, in order to extract the freshest and most vibrant must possible. Keeping the origin of each vineyard, the musts followed the alcoholic fermentation in new 500L French oak barrels. Fermentative process from indigenous yeasts, brings more complexity and character to the wines. Long maturation on total lees (12 months).
