The Encruzado caste, also known as Salgueirinho, is an endemic variety of Dão. Coming from a land of higher altitude and sheltered as the Taboadella vineyard, in metamorphosed granites for hundreds of thousands of years, in this lot we share our care for the crossed caste. The delicate granging of the crossover vines requires extra attention during the vegetative period. The reward is enormous, the wine is firm and lush, the texture is silky, the structure is linear and the depth striking. It is a wine of the present and the future.
