Venakki Distillery is the Pioneer of Portuguese Whiskey, a small private and independent brand producing spirits.

The Venakki Woodrock, works with the rare Portuguese cask and exemplifies craftsmanship, cooperage and wood management at its best. Exploring ground through exploration, ingenuity, expertise and curiosity, it is the result of some unusual and even quite controversial experiences, with Art & Heart infused throughout the process.

This Whiskey undergoes a first maturation period of 3 years in ex-bourbon barrels, after which it is transferred to a first filling, in Casco Português Raro, recently emptied, for extra maturation for a certain number of years.

Bottled according to Cask Strength at precisely the right time, this is a very limited single bottling, the first and last edition of a special Cask Strength Single Malt.
