The 2021 Chryseia was produced from a rigorous selection of grapes from Quinta de Roriz and Quinta da Pardiz, properties of Prats & Symington.

A dry, mild winter and spring led to the end of the summer the evolution of maturation being dependent on the occurrence of precipitation. However, the almost total absence of rain between May and the end of August was offset by relatively mild temperatures that attenuated the effects of the water deficit. Fortunately, slight periods of rain in late August, in conjunction with a month of September of ideal conditions, led to a balanced maturation of the various components of the grapes-evident by the excellent balance between acidity levels and sugars. Freshness and liveliness are the signature of 2019 wines.

Tasting notes: Potent, concentrated and dense and with a strong Duriense personality, it balances itself with a trace of freshness and minerality that already allow it a good tasting. What stands out are the fine, elegant tannins.

This wine is great to accompany red meats, roast beef and grilled meats.
