A unique terroir in the world, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, at the base of the volcanic mountain of Pico, the vines are planted in the crevices of the rock, next to the sea, where you can hear the “singing of the crab”, as this is where there is more sun and hot. A proximity of, sometimes, a few meters that requires the protection of the vineyard by walls (corrals), from the strong winds and saline of the Atlantic. Arinto dos Azores is an autochthonous variety, exclusive to the Azores islands, having in common with mainland Arinto only the name and good acidity.

Selective manual harvest in 40Kg baskets, whole bunch pressing, transfer after 24 hours to 600-1000L fermentation vats.

Tasting Notes: Clean citrus yellow color. Pure mineral aroma, citrus with hints of grapefruit. Tense attack, fresh with a very present minerality and acidity, good persistence and saline notes.

Fresh, very mineral and saline. Ideal partner for oysters, barnacles and bivalves. It also works with grilled fish, salads and fresh seafood.
