Vineyards from Campanário, Câmara de Lobos and Funchal where the soils are of volcanic nature, mainly derived from basalt, trachyte, tufa, slag and conglomerates.

Grapes are crushed and pressed. The must obtained is fermented in oak barrels. Fermentation is stopped by the addition of grape brandy to maintain the desired degree of sweetness. Aged in old American oak barrels in the traditional “Canteiro” system.

Deep amber color with green and mature edge. Aroma of chocolate and molasses. Delicious and very complex bouquet. Sweet, smooth and soft with strong character. Very long trogosto with notes of ripe figs.
